The history of first decades of photography in England is the time of searching for solutions not only in technical, but image-bearing and notional spheres, following the tendencies of the modern painting. Combination, that is composite of several negatives, and stage prints of O. G. Reilander, H. P. Robinson, J. M. Cameron introduce methods and forms of creation of artful image.
