The dynamics of goal-setting of choreographic education in the sphere of culture and amateur art creativity is of great scientific interest. It is the key to understanding the problems of the contemporary choreographic education and the processes proceeding in it in many ways. This dynamic is represented by the continuity of concepts in vocational education in the field of culture and amateur art creativity, which caused the continuity of the basic contradictions in its goal setting. The historical events of the beginning of the
20th century related to the October Revolution, the ideas and activities of N. K. Krupskaya in the field of political, educational and cultural formation became the basis for the concept of cultural and educational formation in the USSR. This concept determined the ambiguity of educational goal-setting for many years, where the main group of goals aimed at the implementation of general vocational training came into conflict with a highly specialized (profile). Having overcome the difficulties of the transition period of the 90’s, modern choreographic education in the sphere of culture and amateur art creativity changed the priorities and accents within its goal-setting. However, the conflict between the main and profile components in the goal-setting of vocational education is unresolved. The current content of the profile education does not allow filling the existing gaps in the vocational training of future specialist which does not sufficiently reflect the specifics оf competence of the specialist-choreographer in the field of amateur creativity. It is necessary to state that there is the need to change the goal-setting of the profile education and the content of vocational training, which are important to rethink according to the requirements of the time.
