European and Russian jewellery art of the Napoleon wars period

It is the development of the jewellery art of the first quarter of the XIX th century, which is being examined in this article. The formation of the esthetics of the decorative Empire style, which dominated in France and Russia during that period, was influenced by numerous events of the epoch. The development of the European jewellery art was directly influenced by the Napoleon military companies. At the same time, the 1812 war with France, which has evoked the wave of patriotic feelings, provoked the turn of the Russian jewellery art to the national forms and motives. Just in this particular context the article is researching the matters of fashion jewellery art.
