The function of museum as educational space is considered to be fundamental in British museums. The museum collections in Victorian Britain based on the cognitive potential of exhibits and were meant for the education of public. That was caused by the historical and cultural events of the period. Museums played an important role in the alternate education of children and adults in the second half of the 19 century, hence the foundation of new museums was encouraged in every way and supported by the Parliament Act.
