Internal training in libraries in structure of continuing education

The place of additional professional education in the structure of continuing education is shown. This corresponds to the main trend of modern education - the philosophy of life long learning. The normative base of additional vocational education is analyzed. In particular, the federal law «On Education in the Russian Federation» is being analyzed, which establishes the basic levels of professional education. It is noted that the rules of law that govern additional vocational education are not sufficiently developed. In addition, there is a contradiction between the existing professional experience and the norms of law. The problematic situation in the additional vocational education is presented: lack of coordination, of state policy in the field of continuous library education, absence of the head center of the system of additional professional library education. Characterized by the current state and development trends of the system of additional library education. The experience of public libraries shows the activities of libraries to improve the professional level of employees. The reasons that compel libraries to improve the professional level of their employees are listed. The article substantiates the internal training in libraries. The internal training in libraries has advantages: it quickly solves the situation problems of libraries; training is conducted on the job; internal reserves and resources are used. The article proposes a model internal training in libraries. This helps the library to be more viable in an internal or external crisis, and also allows the library to develop resistance to risks. Future developments of the network interaction of libraries and educational organizations of secondary and higher library education in the development and implementation of educational programs of additional vocational education. Such interaction will effectively combine theoretical knowledge and practical experience.
