Integrating research and education trends

An analysis of the results and prospects for the integration of research and educational trends in the problem space associated with the positions of cultural heritage in modern society is given. The article provides a characteristic of the current historiographic domestic and foreign resource, reflecting the directions and prospects of studying the heritage and the ways of introducing scientific achievements into educational practice. The synergetic approach and the elevated level of the textbook «Cultural Heritage and Museum in the XXI century» created at the Department of Museology and Cultural Heritage of the St. Petersburg State Institute of Culture are noted. On its basis, the relevant areas of integration of research and educational trends are systematized and expanded, the prospects for using a synergetic approach for the study of cultural heritage in modern society are determined.
