Folds in the space of culture

The study of cultural space needs a detailed and differentiated approach that reveals the details of the processes taking place in the cultural environment. Such a concept is the fold proposed by M.  Foucault and developed by J.  Deleuze. The heuristic usefulness of this concept is confirmed by its use to explain the processes taking place in the cultural space. The fold complements the research with visibility and potential focus. Thanks to the fold, connections are made between subjectivity and the cultural environment, the participation of activities in cultural production. The various turns of the folded surface allow us to present and explore not only the main intentions, but also various marginalia of the cultural space.
