Educational system of Cuba: political and social aspects

The paper analyzes the political and social aspects of the educational policy of Cuba; its advantages and disadvantages are revealed. It is shown that Cuba has made education an instrument of nation building, being an example of the impact of reducing social inequality on education throughout the country. The problems of equality and egalitarianism are considered in the context of the educational policy of Cuba. Education is often seen as a tool to promote development and reduce inequalities. The article concludes about the merits of the Cuban education system, which confidently demonstrates high achievements, in terms of universal adult literacy, a strong scientific base for the training of professional personnel, a high level of development of chemistry and medicine, high professionalism of teachers, etc. The researchers emphasize the insufficient development of Internet technologies, inhibiting the development of education, which is a natural limitation of the full development of education.
