Ethnic trends in modern fashion

The article researches the conception «ethnic trend». The research considers characteristics of its actualization in the space of modern fashion in culture globalization situation. The study conducts comparative analysis of this trend development in the Western, Far Eastern, Middle Eastern and Russian practice of dress. The article displays the ethnic trend connection with ecological aesthetics, with development of design ergonomics. In particular the ethnic trend exonerates natural fabrics, colorants and handicrafts. Another option is development of ethnic style as a color of personality in the fashion image. The ethnic trend development identifies also as an indicator of boundary diffusion between different cultural areas; as a form of individuality search, subculture identity in situation of transculture shaping.
