Nietzschean Marxism in Soviet culture and cosmism

The article is devoted to the paradigm of «Nietzschean marxism», with which the slavists (G. L. Kline, B. Glatzer-Rosenthal,B. Groys) interpret Soviet culture. The emergence of «Nietzschean Marxism» in Russia G. L. Kline connects with the works ofVolsky, Lunacharsky, Bogdanov and Bazarov published in 1903–1912. B. Glаtzer-Rosenthal heroes of Soviet literature and art,subordinating the elemental forces of nature, interprets as the Nietzsche’s Übermenschen. Soviet culture as a whole appears inthe concept of B. Glаtzer-Rosenthal as a manifestation of «Nietzschean marxism». B. Groys, using the paradigm of «Nietzscheanmarxism», also interprets Russian cosmism. The correctness of such interpretation of the Russian cosmism is investigated. Thearticle shows that the paradigm of «Nietzschean marxism» is inextricably linked with the political and economic approach to thestudy of reality. Soviet culture and Russian cosmism cannot be adequately understood in political and economic terms. Cosmismis correct to approach Nietzscheanism only in relation to the ideas of N. F. Fedorov and his followers. Cosmism remained shadyin the Soviet culture, which adopted its most materialistic positions, embodied in the development of cosmonautics.
