Traditional symbolic forms in the cultural space

The display by the ancient man of the real world in the early stages of the formation of culture led to the emergence of sign-symbolic forms. Initially, the iconic images corresponded to a specif c purpose: indicative, tribal, clan, cult, etc., but many forms were f rmly entrenched in the symbolic system. In all ancient cultures, in pagan and religious practices, there was a symbolic vision of the world, as evidenced by the mythology, the preserved rituals and the language of many peoples. The organic connection of a person with nature, the world around him in a cultural context is def ned as the natural and spiritual ways of human development. This factor has become fundamental in the holistic-symbolic understanding of the world by man. The simplest graphic images determined the origins of new shapes, symbolically entrenched in the cultural space. In each epoch and culture, its own symbols appeared, but the basis, the foundation of any culture was made by graphic universals, which became the bases of the traditional symbolism of dif erent cultures.
