The article studies the history of creation and existence of the series of the drawings The Hermitage During the Siege (1942) by Vera V. Milyutina. The author introduces the main historical sources for this theme, highlights the history of creation and existence of the series and defi nes exactly the collections where the drawings from this series are situated now. Documents of Vera V. Milyutina included in her personal fond and her personal data sheet from the fond of the Union of Artists of Saint Petersburg which are in the storage of the Central State Archive of Literature and Art of Saint Petersburg became the main sources of the article. Moreover author refers to the artworks from the Manuscripts and Documents Department of The State Hermitage Museum and the Manuscripts Department of the National Library of Russia, which allowed drawing conclusion about the condition of the series of the drawings and defi ning future search path.
