This article is about activity of section «Education and training», which is working in the frame of International Federation of Library Associations (IFLA). Author focuses on the document which was one of the few translated into Russian. It’s developedping to involve in educational process for library and information programs in different countries. Basic requirements to students, faculty, staff, instructional resources and facilities are overviewed in this paper.
