Mythology in the light of philosophical quest of Schelling

The most important event in the historical-philosophical tradition of myth-making studying is a multifaceted myth teaching of F. Schelling, a representative of the German philosophy of the Early modern period. In the article the main provisions of Schelling’s mythological theory, developed in his philosophical works are analysed. Mythology is considered as folk art, symbolic system, the material for art, theogonical process, etc.
