The article intends to examine the problems of the interaction of fashion and the jewelry art in the Victorian epoch. The special attention is devoted to the influence of Queen Victoria on these processes. Not only her aesthetics ideas of the art, but her charisma, tastes, the events of her private life became the «subject» of the jewelers work, determined the economical policy in the jewelry business in England and in Europe.
