Performance and texture-style features of piano-jazz accompaniment

This article describes in detail some of the key features of playing jazz accompaniment on piano. Studying this question requires a deep analysis of stylistic tasks and technical foundations. By studying the key elements used in the performance of pop and jazz accompaniment, we come to a universal solution to the artistic problem and the problems of accompaniment in jazz music in general. An important aspect is how exactly the plan of accompaniment is built, what expressive means the musician operates, fully aware of this, in the end we get a logically complete concert number with the integrity of musical and dramatic image. Aspects of harmonic functionality, textual and stylistic peculiarities and rhythmic-pulsating nuances of jazz accompaniment are considered in detail. Considering the chronology of development of pianistic art, including jazz, we can note the evolutionary development of the accompaniment, its path from simpler to more complex.
