The article is devoted to the analysis of the Russian-German interaction in the socio-cultural sphere of the 18th c., particularly, in the formation and the development of Educational organizations, namely, in the primary and secondary school system. The main vectors of Russian-German intercultural communication, which determined the formation of primary and secondary schools in Russia, are considered. The author concludes that the impact of the German education system on the Russian school’s formation was reflected in the introduction of new teaching methods, drawing up curricula based on the German model, introducing a number of subjects typical for the German school, as well as the inviting German specialists to teach in schools and gymnasiums Russia. The article notes that this process became the starting point for the subsequent development of educational activities in the country as a whole.
