Currently, the role of conservation approaches in the study and preservation of cultural heritage objects has increased significantly since these approaches fully correspond to the interdisciplinary nature of modern research. In such conditions, in universities appear new professional training programs, for example, specialized at artistic ceramics and glass conservation. There are such forms of cooperation as conservation internships based on museum collections of Russian Federation. As a result, museums get their collections conserved and students obtain invaluable experience of work on cultural heritage objects. Even though such collaborations aim primarily at routine conservation tasks, valuable observations and discoveries previously concealed properties of items conserved and the circumstances of their historical existence are possible here to be expected and dealt with.
