Aspiring musicians are in a vulnerable position against the background of many risk factors: the epidemiological situation, socio-cultural shifts, oversaturation of the music industry market. In fact, the social infrastructure and student society in higher educational institutions can become an environment for unlocking the potential and assessing their own capabilities, within the walls of which novice musicians will be able to go through the stages of formation of the collective with minimal losses and in relative safety. The informality of student communication, teaching contacts and advice, and infrastructural university support for student amateur activities are valuable factors in the development of a jazz collective. Jazz is eternal music, according to the classics. But the unpopularity of this genre in the modern industry becomes, unfortunately, another risk against the background of high competitiveness in the musical style.
